    @myalynn444 i have always been told that placing the pinky on the guitar (anchoring) is a bad habit i should avoid?

    @johnnyWas66 technically, you should be allowed to play the guitar however you want (in my opinion). I frequently anchor, and it’s a rather hard habit for me to avoid. Not to mention I sound better when I anchor, which is what matters. If I don’t anchor, I sound very sloppy.
