I'd been playing the guitar for about a year on a steel string acoustic when I decided to start playing classical so I bought a classical nylon guitar along with this method book from progressive. I had other progressive series books and primers, but for the classical guitar this was the best.This book has about a hundred pages or so of quality lessons and excercises.The book is all musical notations and fingerstyle lessons.It doesn't contain any TAB lines.It also contains a fretboard guitar notes diagram and a music glossary at the end of the book.If you have a passion to learn classical guitar this is the book for you.

Guitarra, instrumento de extrema complejidad…..no tiene nada de sencilla…los luthiers fabrican instrumentos musicales…los músicos transforman sus sonidos en música…y los instrumentos permiten que eso suceda…y si lo es con Bach o como Paganini (que aparte de violinista fue un extraordinario Guitarrista)….por tanto…y co n mi mayor respeto digo a UD. no trate a la Guitarra de ” instrumento sencillo”…Chriss

Su lengua materna no es el español, por lo que no conoce las sutiles diferencias que existe en la palabra sencillo: Algo puede ser sencillo, pero no necesariamente será simple, como algunos estudios de Giuliani, que en la partitura no son mas que unas cuantas notas, pero ya ejecutandolas, resulta que son bellas piezas.
