The Double is not …
The Double is not recorded in this track. I play this Bourre and the accompnying Double also.
The performance is fine, although a little more music making coukld be expected.

The double refers …
The double refers to the fact that in the suite the same musical style is repeated. So if there is first a bourre than the double is just another bourre in the suit. Typically in a suite there is a prelude, bourre, allemande, courante, gigue…
