The Study in A Minor by Aguado is a great little piece to practice all sorts of classical guitar skills. The fact that it’s in 2/4, or march time, seems at first, a little hard to comprehend as it doesn’t really sound like a march at all. It has the “fire” of a true Spanish piece even though it would only be classed as a “miniature” piece.

This Carcassi study (Opus 60, No.3) for classical guitar is a little bit deceptive. Although it sounds very easy there are many technical requirements to make it “flow” and sound smooth and legato.

This famous theme song from the movie Titanic was perhaps the best selling sheet music ever here at Johnny Thompson’s. This official printed sheet music versions of this song, sung famous by Celine Dion, was available only in Piano Solo and PVG/C (piano+vocals+guitar chords) arrangements.
